7th Period Article for 3/10

Discussion Questions:

  1. Are targeted attacks of ISIS a good approach to responding to the threat of chemical warfare?
  2. How else could the US and other countries try to prevent the use of chemical weapons by ISIS?
  3. Do you think ISIS plans to use the Mustard agent to attack the west or use it for other purposes? If so what purposes?

1 comment:

  1. The US and other countries could try to prevent the use of chemical weapons in the future by clearly stating the rules and consequences for using them. Not enforcing these rules will only show ISIS that they can continue using similar weapons without being punished for it. The international community should have the power to retaliate and respond to these attacks with the use of strategic bombing and missile strikes.
